What are we doing here?

We are a team of volunteers making an Christian-friendly online role playing game that is set in ancient Rome about 100 AD.  There will be player made content, custom avatars, professions to learn, quests to finish, and huge maps to explore.  All this will be in a persistent online world where people can meet up with their friends and play together, and experience history in a fun and exciting game!

Kids today spend most of their time online or in games. What is your child learning through these experiences?

In 2003 We set out to create a positive new and unique experience for children and adults who play games online. A place for fun, escape, learning and growing in an amazingly different world, the world of the past. We want to harness the technology available to us to create a game that captures the imagination, that immerses the player in the experiences of an ancient citizen of the Roman empire, to put the player in the story of History and Faith.

What is our Vision for the Future?

We think games can be more fun, and more meaningful, and more friendly than the common fare offered on store shelves today.  We want to create a game that encourages individual creativity.  We want to create a game strengthens families and friendships through the game experience. We want to help people experience History first hand in a virtual world.  We want to take them back in time to see how the followers of Jesus Christ lived during the period we now call “the Early Church”. We want to make a different kind of game for a different kind of gamer. We want to make a game that teaches useful information in the content, a game that doesn’t waste time, but instead enhances people’s lives through entertainment. A game that can really make a difference in people’s lives. Can you help us make a difference?

We need the equivalent of a meal a month, no more than the cost of one fast food hamburger meal: an investment from you into this work we are doing for God.  Active Supporters will gain special benefits along the way as we are able to provide them.  Help us finish the game by investing in our efforts!
