You say on the front page that this game will be in the historical genre.
Will, then, you be able to purchase and own slaves?
Quote,
"Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property."
Leviticus 25:44-45
Gameplay Mechanics Question
Re: Gameplay Mechanics Question
On the contrary, when you begin the game, you ARE the slave, and your first objective is to earn your freedom.
Also, you haven't read your history very well if you believe that Leviticus was written in the 2nd century AD, which is VERY CLEARLY stated in all of the descriptions of the game, as the time period that we are playing in. Leviticus was written about 2500 years earlier. Visions is happening during the peak of the era when Rome ruled the world, at 100 AD, after both the Old Testament as well as the New Testament had already been written, Christ had already ascended to heaven, the Apostles had dispersed and started what we now refer to as "The Early Church" throughout the region, and they too had completed their work and passed on. Visions is during the 2nd century A.D. when Christians were following the example of Christ and setting captives free, just as they had been set free from the bondage of sin.

Romans 6:22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
we were once slaves to sin now were slaves to rightousness slavery is something your bound too such as slaves in history were bound to their master in those times and had to meet ertain requirements to be free but at that point became bound or slaves to other things. slavery never ends right now most of america is slaves to credit cards.
God bless all!!!
