A few random things that we have made available for you to download and use without charge. These are not nessesarily related to the Visions game project, just some little extras that Heaven's Blessings Tiny Zoo is offering as a courtesy to those who are interested. Please do not redistribute them. If you know someone who wants copies of these files, have them come to the site to get them personally. Under no circumstances are any of these downloads to be sold, either individually or in combination, nor are they to be packaged into bundles and sold. They are Free to everyone!

We love kids! And we want the best for our kids.
I've written a few books for my kids. I just print them on my home printer and bind them in plastic folders most of the time, occasionally I take them to the print shop and have them put a ring binder and plastic covers on them. I've converted a few here to .PDF format so that you too can enjoy these books exactly as they were intended to be viewed.

And here is a workbook I wrote for my children to introduce them to Spanish. This is over 250 pages long, and if your student does 1 page a day per school day, not including holidays, it should last for nearly 2 school years of work.
It is my reccomendation not to push too hard, as it is easier to build on knowledge in small bites.
We also believe that all kids are smart! And if you just give them a chance, kids can learn anything you want to teach them. Especially if you make it fun! Sit down with your small child and try a few of these presentations together. Maybe you will find that helping your child learn can be fun for you too!
I create a lot of my own curriculum that I use with our kids in our homeschool. Sometimes I use flashcards, or "bits of intelligence" to help the children. I am offering some of my computerized bits here for free, for your children to benefit. These are not in any way related to the Visions game project. They are just some free things you can download and use with your kids. We have been using flashcards like these (as well as paper ones!) since our children were babies. My youngest is 5 now, and she still likes to look at these sometimes. Of course I make a lot of cards based on my own children's interests. Your children may be interested in other things, so you may find that you want to make your own. Have fun with it!
These are in PowerPoint format. If you need a powerpoint viewer you can get one for free from Microsoft here. Or you can download OpenOffice for free from www.openoffice.org to view these files as well as create new ones of your own!
You will want to use the SLIDESHOW command from whatever tool you use to view these files.
