April 24, 2008 - WELCOME! Chariots has it's OWN web page now! We are anticipating the release of Chariots this year and hope you are as excited about it as we are!

We have a NEW video for you! We're working hard on the full version of Chariots with many people putting in extra hours every day. While we had hoped for a March release of Chariots, as a result of multiple complications (including the CEO being in a car accident in February, the primary web developer experiencing 2 deaths in the family in February, and multiple people coming down sick) our launch date has been delayed. However we are still hoping for a Spring release! Some of our team members are still not back up to full speed, and we could use more help. If you have talents which would benefit our team, please apply! We especially need C++ Programmers, Torque Scripters, World builders (level editors), 3D artists, 3D animators, Brush artists (DIF models), and Marketing assistants. If you would like resume experience working on a Christian Game we can help!

Chariots is a racing game set in Ancient History, loosly incorporating Greek, Roman and Biblical history into the theme. Players will be able to race on foot, on horseback, and of course in a Chariot. We have a variety of horses the player will be able to choose from, and an assortment of Chariot styles the player can earn upgrades to obtain. The player starts on the Island of Cyprus, where there will be 13 cities with a variety of race types and difficulty levels for the player to accomplish. The player will also be able to experience some races in an Egyptian setting, complete with Pyramids. There will be Marathon races, Labyrinths, and special buildings to race in. We hope Chariots will be a fun new and exciting game like none have ever experienced before.

The idea for Chariots originated as a mini-game based on one tiny aspect of the much larger Visions game (a Christian MMORPG) also being produced by Heaven's Blessings Tiny Zoo. We started Chariots as an experimental development cycle to generate more interest in our project, boost team morale, and hopefully to generate some revenue from the full version of Chariots (expected to be completed late winter or early spring 2008) so we can start paying developers to work on Visions full time. So please, download our Chariots Christmas demo, share the link with others so they can download it too. Have fun! And Discover the true reason we celebrate Christmas.
